The Ninth Hole on the Quarry Course

This hole typically plays into a breeze and requires a solid drive to clear the left fairway bunker. A wayward drive will find the right bunker, or worse, thick bush on the left and right of the fairway. The approach is important with the green protected by a bunker front right, with mounding, slopes, and grassy hollows around the green.

A back to front sloping green with the back third sitting in a hollow only adds to the difficulty here. Four is a great score on this hole.

Quarry Course

The Quarry course is designed around a former quarry site and cuts through steep limestone quarries. Holes 3-5 in particular are unique and world class and features Robert Trent-Jones' most dramatic work.

Dune Course

The Dune course is characterised by hilly terrain and sweeps across dense bushland.
Contoured greens with tiered landing areas and thick scrub surrounding the fairways are a feature of the Dune.
