This slight dogleg left plays downhill from the tee and around a quarry. The drive is straight forward but be careful not to run out of fairway, or worse, go beyond the fence and Penalty Area into the quarry.
Depending on where the flag is positioned and the wind direction, the approach shot over the quarry can be very intimidating. It is critical to hit the right landing area on this heavily contoured green, otherwise a three putt or worse will result.

The Quarry course is designed around a former quarry site and cuts through steep limestone quarries. Holes 3-5 in particular are unique and world class and features Robert Trent-Jones' most dramatic work.

The Dune course is characterised by hilly terrain and sweeps across dense bushland.
Contoured greens with tiered landing areas and thick scrub surrounding the fairways are a feature of the Dune.
