A good drive that avoids the left bunker will give long hitters a chance to go for the green in two. A drive too far right will be
blocked out by trees. The second shot is played to a landing area between grassy slopes on the left and right of the fairway,
which will funnel the ball back onto the fairway if mishit.
A delicate pitch is required to land the ball in the correct location on a heavily contoured and sloping green. Bunkers left and right of the green are also in play. A good closing risk-reward hole.

The Quarry course is designed around a former quarry site and cuts through steep limestone quarries. Holes 3-5 in particular are unique and world class and features Robert Trent-Jones' most dramatic work.

The Dune course is characterised by hilly terrain and sweeps across dense bushland.
Contoured greens with tiered landing areas and thick scrub surrounding the fairways are a feature of the Dune.
