Hole Overview

The Fourth Hole on the Dune Course

Red 123

A challenging long par 3 when played from the back tee, especially into the wind. This hole spells trouble with anything offline. Bunkers back left and right will collect shots too long. A wayward shot left will bounce down a steep slope into a Penalty Area, or worse, into thick bush. A shot to the right will be OOB, unless you get lucky and it ricochets off the cliff face onto the green.

Anything short of the green will roll back into a gully. Being on the wrong side of a spine which cuts the green in half will likely result in a three putt. A par on this hole is a great outcome.

Quarry Course

The Quarry course is designed around a former quarry site and cuts through steep limestone quarries. Holes 3-5 in particular are unique and world class and features Robert Trent-Jones' most dramatic work.

Dune Course

The Dune course is characterised by hilly terrain and sweeps across dense bushland.
Contoured greens with tiered landing areas and thick scrub surrounding the fairways are a feature of the Dune.

The course presents some windswept links-like holes with distant ocean glimpses and picturesque lakes.
